Still getting water in rear end
#1
Working on a 97 300 trx. The bike has been fully snorkeled, vented etc.
Replaced the rear brakes, seals and berings on the right side. Yes applyed grease to seals.
Problem is we are still getting water in the rear end gear side and just a touch of rear end grease in the brake side.
I have not replaced the seals on the left side of the rear end, this seems to be the logical problem. If anyone has a diagram of the left side of the rear end please post it.
Thanks in advance.

sounds like maybe you have some play in bearings.. witch would let axle move enough to push seal open. im not familliar with ur machine but on my old 4x4 we would put a exstra seal in backwords as they only stop fluids in one direction. maybe you could try that

try ronniesmailorder, they have online microfiche that helps alot. if your bearing is bad it will cause the seal to leak. If the surface of teh axle the seal turns in is rough, it will leak (I had to polish my hub and order a smaller inner diameter seal from a bearing supply store once). also if your rear axle is bent it will cause the seal to leak.
Did you extend teh vent lines? Also check for holes or tears in the vent line.
