A 650 2 stroke single would rip your arms off only at idle!! I think ATK made a 6 hundred something single bike,a nd they said the vibration was incredible, and power not impressive, although present when the turning came...eheh. It would fly, but power delivery was so soft that you didn't realize it...a bit like modern 4 strokes.

The XR650R dirt bike was the OVERALL WINNER of the Baja 2000! This engine is a high tech water cooled 4-stroke. They are pretty common out here in the desert and can easily do over 100 mph. This engine is not all that big or heavy, and should fit in a 400EXish frame pretty well.

There was a shoot out vs raptor, ds650 and scrabler and 400ex won. so why would honda come out with a new one when they already have the best or close to the best and are selling every one they make.

hey awsome88250r, how much did you pay for that thing? if you want to get rid of it, ill gladly take it off of your hands! i am buying a slightly used 2001 400ex from a friend this april that isnt in that nice of shape! i am getting an awsome deal on it, $4,700 and it is almost mint! only like 4 rides on it! he wants a raptor! his loss! just kidding raptor guys! he has a brand neew set of razors for it too.
