Default in need of a lifter valve

i was riding the other day and it just fell out. let me know if you have one i will buy it off you.

"fell out" is usually a word i leave to bolts. kinda makes me think you dont have any idea what happened to it. sorry man, dont mean to be laughing at ya, just the term you used.

What he said! "Lifter valve" is probably a poor term for what part is involved. I think the term is leftover from the old days of pushrod engines/hydraulic lifters???? Never heard it used in relation to any Honda motorcycle engine.

Get a service manual, look up an exploded diagram and give us the proper name for the part(s) involved. Dealer's parts dept will also have diagrams. Just walk in and ask to look at them together with someone who knows their way around your engine.

If the problem is valve/cam related, are you up to doing that kind of engine work???
