Honda 450300 is exactly correct(except I can't ride mine).I hooked up a temporary tank with no difference. It's getting plenty of fuel.If other people have this same issue, there must be a solution out there somewhere.(Sorry about the remark I made before,it's just that I'd like to push this quad over a cliff in a fiery ball of flame).

NP Mudhead, we have all been that frustrated... I have to agree with the above... it sounds like you are getting crap in your fuel. I have a fuel filter on my 400 and even with what I thought was good gas.. I clean crap out of the filter all the time. I would suggest a fuel filter and maybe take the tank off and give it a good rinse.

I took my quad to get worked on by a tech. Found out the problem. The cam chain is so loose that it skipped a tooth of timing which is why it boggs out. I have noticed a lot of people with 300's having the same bogging out issue. Makes me wonder how many of these have stretched chains as most of them are the older quads.

Was already tightned as much as it would go. The chain stretches out after a while. Is replacing the chain, tensioner and a couple other small items associated with it. The list price is $125 for the chain, but you can find em cheaper. I am paying $87 fore the chain. Not positive this is ur problem, but it may be a good idea to check it out, expecially if its an older quad.
