Gas Leaking from 1/4" Drain Hose

I'd say same advice. Most common cause will be the float valve in the carb not closing properly due to gunk caught in the valve, misadjusted, or worn valve needle. It should be a smooth V shape with no groove on it.

A second area to check is the diaphram on the primer ****, if so equipped. They can get little cracks, which will also overflow the carb.

Sounds like everyone needs to replace the needle and seat, this is what the float operates, check your engine oil and air box for gas as well, after you replace the needle and seat, turn the gas off when not in use and the new one will last longer.;
