No problems here, but I don't wallow in the mud and get a lot of gunk in my bearings/bushings, so that may be a big factor.

no one else?........reason for the question is i have one customer with several of these machines and they have replaced numerous bearings, some bikes 3 sets so far. now these guys dont do anything different than several other companies i deal with that have these bikes. (these are all in the oil/natural gas/well tender field) were talking in the range of 75 machines. all these failures are occuring just on the one companys bikes....... thanks

Never ever seen one single post on this problem. Has to be something they are specifically doing that is different from everybody else out there. Are they overloading the rear end or something???

We haven't changed out any at all. I would say it is how it is being used, or the conditions - I would send a sample of the failed set to Honda for examination .... are they cleaning off with a very high pressure washer perhaps?

these bikes rarely ever get cleaned....about the only time they get cleaned is when they cross thru the creeks and water holes......all these bikes are about the same...they all have aluminun cabs and carry several jugs of various fluids on the rear racks and tools on the front racks. ..... it just seems weird that one co. is having issues

Overloading the racks?
Are the cabs heavy - putting sway on the machine?
Are they racing each other?
Is it VERY fine dust conditions?
Is one of the chemicals in use very corrosive - any other signs?
Carrying passengers?
A mystery all right!!
