Default Recon HP

Anyone know the HP of a 99 recon? It's not listed in the Honda Service Manual.

Ok, thanks. I just bought this 99. Of course, I had to clean it up and make sure all is well before I take it out on the trail. But I gotta say that those dam plastic push pins that hold all the plastic together are crap. Everything rattles because they don't grasp things tight together like a bolt & nut would. Maybe I'll put some real bolts & nuts on in certain places.

Also, the guy had a genuine Honda Service Manual that he gave me and it doesn't seem very good. I wonder if a Clymer is better. I have both the Honda and a Clymer for my 87 250X, and they both show some things that the other doesn't. So, maybe it's a good idea to have both. The Honda manual for the Recon is not nearly as good or detailed as the one I have for the 250X.

On the body clips - put a 1/2 inch washer on the back of the clip - that will tighten everything up. Nuts / bolts aren't a good idea - a clip can rip off - a bolt will tear the plastics
