Is a pro design cool head worth putting on my 86 250r people say they don't even cool the engine at all. How do they work and cool the engine. Also people say they heat up faster than the stock head. Is this true should I buy one or stay with the stock head

A Cool Head is the way to go in my opinion. You'll get 10 different answers from 10 different people. It does hold more coolant than a stocker. Most of the top pros are running some type of cool head.

I have a cool head with 21cc dome on my 89 250R. The amount of coolant in the head is by far more than in a stock head. One nice thing is that you can change domes for different compression and race or pump gas.
