My project trx 500r

Gday, well ive just signed up around here thought id post a link to the build on my quad. Its an 86 trx 250r powered by a 96 cr 500 i built this thing and rode it two times and yes like every one says vibrations are nearly arm breaking.So i got to thinking and thought i would add a counter balancer. better off me just posting a link and yas can read from there cheers hope ya's like it.

I always thought Honda should of put the CR500 motor in there R frame, I also think Honda should put there XR650 motor in there EX 400 ATV frame.
Nice job. Whats a cr500 motor push 55hp at 50 ft/lb of torque or something like that?

I think there up around 60 to 65 hp.Not exactly sure.The second ride i had om it 4th gear wheelstands were no hassle at all just pull the throttle on.Its quick just the vibrations almost killed me lol

yeah, that 500 2-stroker is a beast, both in power and vibration. I once considered putting a 500 4-stroke XR engine into my old TRX250R frame, but couldn't bring myself to cut into the frame. Ended up with a 330 kit installed on it, and it was more than I needed.
