hello all i bought a trx200sx the other day and i here a ticking in the engine up around the jug on the shifter side.i dont think its a rod i think its the timing chain. i read in the forums here about the timing chain makin noises like tapping and such.what i would like to no is if there is a way to adjust this or if someone has a picture of the manual that will tell me how to install a new timing chain.this runs very strong has a little bit of smaoke at idle but i think thats a carbarator problem.any help would be greatly appritiated

I know what you mean. You may want to try and find you a good Honda manual. They are a great asset when it comes down to these things.

I would try tightening the automatic cam chain tensioner manually to see if the noise goes away , if it's been noisy long the cam chain could be stretched and need replacing .. Don't remove the tensioner just remove the bolt in the center of it ..

Here's a picture of the tensioner assy ..
