Default 2001 Honda Foreman Out of Storage

My Foreman has been stored under a covered porch and under an ATV cover since November 2006, being started once or twice a year. It had a complete service by the dealer in August 2006. It only has about 360 miles on it. I used Sta-bil in the fuel.

I put in a new battery and it started right up and ran fine. I ran the remaining fuel out and will put in fresh.

What else will it probably need?

Also, it has the original tires which have about 2 lbs in them. If I add air and the tires don't leak, will they be OK or are they too old?

I promise not to do this again.

Thank you

Should have changed the oil before firing it up. Oil goes acidic, even just sitting there in the crankcase.

I would change out the diff oil soon as well.

If the tires aren't cracked around the sidewalls, they should be ok. Ozone speeds up the dryrot process on rubber and if the tores were also under cover, the may not have cracked. I'd also reoil the air filter and change the plug. Might want to check all pivot points too. (shocks, A arms, all bearings)
