Default 09 420 honda dies

09 with very few miles started dying when you get in the throttle hard but restarts. It only acts up at times and runs fine others. Honda shop found ground cable at battery loose and thought it was fixed. Rode one block and died when letting off throttle but restarted. Has anyone else has this problem?

If the Honda shop thought it was fixed, then maybe you need to take it back to them or if it's an option, another dealer.

Of course this could also be attributed to trash in the fuel system. Before I would take it back to that same dealer, provided another is not available, I would run some Seafoam through it. Won't hurt a thing and I run it in all my vehicles every so often.

Good luck in finding the problem.

Thanks for the reply ddrumman2004. It actually belongs to a guy at work. He is taking it back to the dealer tomorrow.

The other wild guess... could be gummed up IAC.

The problem was a connector near the battery that wasn't making connection.
