Default 2009 Foreman 500

I can't find what I am looking for by searching. But does this quad have a Solid Rear axle or independent? BTW it's a 4WD

I am looking at buying this bike, like I said it's an 09 4WD with 100 miles and 30 hours, and I can get it for around 4500.

Not what I wanted to hear, but thanks..lol

I really have the need or want for ind. and solid. I think with ind. you have more flex and articulation, but with a solid you have more strength and not have to worry about popping an axle while riding.

Do you think that's a fair price for that bike?

Maybe someone with better knowledge than me will answer but that sounds like a decent price. I'm assuming its an "S" version meaning manual shift. The cheapest new price I have seen is around 5500-5600.

The Foreman 500 is a basic air/oil cooled engine....90% work quad and 10% trail quad, so I would not pick it for an all day trail cruiser. They have an excellent reputation for reliability.

The only Hondas with IRS are the Rancher 420AT and the Rincon.

Thanks for the input. I have decided to hold off a bit and get some more $$$ together and buy a different bike. Not sure of what I will get but I am almost sure it will be new. I want a bike that will last a long time and can handle some abuse.
