I rode my bud's banshee tonite, mann does that sucker fly, that 2 stroke power is nice but hey at least a 4stoke will run 2 years from now.( he just got it back from an engine re-build.) I was wondering what the 400ex power is like compared to the banshee, is it snappy like the banshee or is it slower like a recon ( as if that is a good compariosn ). is there power at all in the low end or does it wait till the mid to kick in like a 2 stroke?

Dude the 400EX is mainly low-end. Not too much top-end to speak about. Top-end is where it is the worst. Exact opposite of a Banshee.
