Default 2007 TRX420 Help please

the other night i came home from riding and when walked behind it there were two rubber lines dragging behind. one is on the left side top of rearend housing the other is right side and looks like it goes to the brake housing. my question is are these just vents or do they connect somewhere?

Those are vent hoses, and they normally travel up the right side of the ATV and end to the right of the gas tank with two other hoses. Take off the seat and look up at the left of the gas tank and you should see two other hoses where their ends are resting/being supported in a very crude harness (its more like a slit in a plastic tab where the ends go through and rest). In this harness there is room for four houses side by side this is where your two mystery hoses go. Since the hoses were dragging behind the quad I would make sure they are clean and clear before putting them back in the harness with the other two.

Would also be good to make sure the oil in the final drive isn't milky.
