Looked at a 1995 trx 300 ex. It is a clean bike,looks good but it will not Idle long,It runs good at speed,just wont hold a Idle,The onwer said that the bike has sat for 1 year or so, Bad Gas? Is it hard to rebuld a carburetor for a bike like this? Will carb cleaner work ? I just do not want to get stuck with a junk bike if I buy it--(1100.oo$)

 

I would think if it started and ran... it would be fine.. idle's can be fixed... cleaning.. adjusting points... always something...

 

I looked a a rebuild kit on e-bay and it runs around twenty 5 bucks, I do not think it would be that bad to do, See if I can get atv for the lowest price that I can.

 

Its better to get a bike offa someone who looked after it -- but if its running ok, no rust, then its most likely only a carb issue
