Post 300 won`t Idle

Just bought a trx 300ex 1995, the bike looks like new,was not used that much. The bike sat for 1 year or so. I took all the old gas out and drained out the gas out of the float bowl. the air filter looked like it was falling apart. I was going to replace it. How do I make the atv Idle faster? Can I take off the air cleaner off and put carb.cleaner down the tube with the bike running. It runs good it just will not Idle--- Do I need to do a carb. rebuld? Is it hard to do that job? (I got the ex for $900.00) I think I got it for a far price. Thank You--

there is a adjustment on the left side of the carb, play with this while it is running and you will hear it change the idle speed, just do a little at a time with a flat head screw driver

its pretty big screw and its near the choke, you cant miss it

and remember, once you adjust it to idle when its cold, you must fine tune it again when its warm

i uploaded a pic of a 300ex carb for you to see where the screw is
