CAN ANYONE TELL ME FROM EXPERIENCE WHAT IS A GOOD PRODUCT TO KEEP WITH ME ON A LONG RIDE IN CASE OF A FLAT. ALSO ANYTHING ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF THAT WOULD COME IN HANDY ON A LONG RIDE. MY WIFE AND I ARE JUST PLANNING TO GO ON SOME LONG RIDES IN THE SPRING AND WE HAVE BEEN STICKING CLOSE TO HOME, SO IT WOULD BE NICE FOR SOME TIPS BEFORE GO.

I put slime in the tires,,,I have a fix a flat kit from cabelas(air cylinder,plugs,glue,rasp,plugtool),, and i also have a carry a can of fix-o-flat,,the can that has the 5-6 inch hose on nozzle, and a $10.00 compressor, behind my tail light,,,the only time i had a problem is when i ran over a bottle covered with snow and put a 1 3/4 slice in tire,,

 

toilet paper is a must for a long trip.

The cabelas kit is very good for tire repair and my experiance with "slime" has been pretty good
