Rincon VS Brute Help Me Decide
#31
How much power you need or want depends on your intended use, and your personal preference.
My ATV's spend a lot of time at around or not much over 10 mph, since I tend to enjoy rough or tight terrain.
Out in Arizona where you can ride on more of the roads the big outlander twins are popular, some with power mods. The Rincon won't bomb down the road at above 65 mph with throttle to spare the way those machines can. There's also the fun factor of having that much power on tap coming out of a corner.
Still, to me the Hondas still have a feeling of more refined engineering, with the spring rates and damping of the suspension better sorted out, and so forth. I do wish Honda would finally build a large displacement IRS twin with a low gear, though.
