250 honda 2x4 clutch

You should get one. If you plan to do any work on it, it will save you tons of time and tons of costly mistakes.

I just looked at an exploded view of your clutch. It looks familiar. See if there is a washer behind the nut that has one side of it bent forward over the nut. They do this to keep the nut from coming loose. This could be your problem. If so, just take a flat punch and a hammer and pound the washer flat. Then the nut should come off.

ok i will give that a try i got the motor ripeed out now lol it was so hard to get my head in there and see what was going on and my frame is broke in several different places so i got lots of fixing to do

Geez. I hope you bought that thing dirt cheap. Maybe you should part it out? Busted frames are not good.

haha nope bout 1300 dollars lol i know im an idiot but i found someone with a 03 250ex frame im lookin to buy

That quad has 2 clutches. One is a centrifigul clutch and the other is a normal gear change clutch. The centrifigul is to the right of the normal clutch and overlaps it a little. The centrif one is a left hand thread. The normal one is a regular right hand thread. Which clutch are you having trouble removing?

well thats good to know now i broke some of the cogs off now lol its the centf one im hacing troube with i likely got it soooo tight now that it will likely never come off lol i mean i was jumping on the retchett it was turning slowly but i guess i was tightening it more lol
