250 honda 2x4 clutch

I just looked at an exploded view of your clutch. It looks familiar. See if there is a washer behind the nut that has one side of it bent forward over the nut. They do this to keep the nut from coming loose. This could be your problem. If so, just take a flat punch and a hammer and pound the washer flat. Then the nut should come off.

That quad has 2 clutches. One is a centrifigul clutch and the other is a normal gear change clutch. The centrifigul is to the right of the normal clutch and overlaps it a little. The centrif one is a left hand thread. The normal one is a regular right hand thread. Which clutch are you having trouble removing?
