Transporting 2 quads on a 5x8 trailer

I would see if you could load the Rancher first straight in and then put the two front wheels of the Recon on the rear rack of the Rancher. I had a Kawasaki Lakota (about the size of a Recon and a Polaris Xplorer (about the size of a Rancher) and they fit in a T pattern on a 12x6 trailer. I currently use a 101"x12' snowmobile trailer so I can grab a buddy's machine too. We can fit 3 full size or even 2-up machines on it.

Here's a thought... tho may not be the best one... load the longer(from nose to tail) in first... but stand it up on it's rear end... Then drive the second one into it... make sure it's secured really good... or just stand the both of them up if you can.. Just a thought... but it may be a lot safer for you and everyone else to just buy another trailer...

I had a 5x10 flat trailer I used to load 2 on. It did have 15" tires, so there were the wheel wells to deal with. Somehow, it worked out for me they were positioned just right. I'd drive one up sideways onto the front of the trailer, the drive the other straight up from the back. But I don't know if there's gonna be enough room for them to fit with all fours on the trailer with a 5x8.

My friends, and I loaded up a 16 footer that really holds only 3 quads confortably on all four, But when you pop the front end up the trailer can hold up to 6 quads, and 3dirt bikes. Stand them both up, straight up on there rear wheels, and rear bumpers. you must turn off the fuel to prevent fuel leaks. Strape them down top to rear of trailer, and top to front of the trailer, and then togeather. Most axle hold 3500lbs per axle so you should be good. "Good luck"
