Has anyone adjusted their valves yet?
If so, did you remove all the front plastic and rack like service manual says to?
I'm due for the 100 hr service and want to do it
myself. I've done my foreman 400 service, but looking at the manual makes it look much more difficult. Any advice welcome.

 

I have done mine. You do have to remove the plastic. I takes a couple of hours but it isnt too bad.

 

I just remove the 2 side covers"black"and the the top where the fuel guage is ,remove the straps and 2 screws that hold the gas tank,undo the gas line at the carb pull the tank out and to the side and tie it up,wedge a block to hold the white plastic up and out of the way.All together it takes me maybe 40 minutes.Oh ya must remove snorkel.Good luck

 

Could you post the valve setting procedure for the Rubicon? Thanks.

 

Find top dead center on compression stroke.Set intake valves to .006in. set exhaust valves to .009in. Make sure engine is cold (below 95 F).
Anything else you need?
