Just traded my Scrambler for a 400 ex. WOW!!

I just brought my new 400 ex home. I had a 99 500 Scrambler. I have only been able to ride for an hour today and so far this thing is wild. It runs circles around the Polaris. As for missing 4x4, not even a little. I find that lossing 150+ pounds dramaticly helps float over the snow. This thing flys like a dream. I have been hitting jumps that would have been suicidal on the scrambler. It took me a few minutes to get used to the clutch again but once I figured out what gear to have it in for diferent conditions it was awsome. This thing has great low end pull and an awsome top end that had me grinning from ear to ear. My freind is going to have to work to keep up on his new warrior now. I have no regrets abought leaving that lead slug of a polaris behind, even withought revers there is no comparison.

The only downside I see is the EX's inability to go through even the shallowest mud. I used to ride with a bunch of EXs (the owners have all trade them in for Raptors), and I could not belive how little mud it took to get them stuck.
Other than that, they are obviously one of the best trail quads out there.

Make sure you check that throttle adjustment. They aren't set correctly from the factory & 99% of the dealers out there don't bother to check them before sending them out the door....
What does this mean? If it's not adjusted correctly, you have a substantial amount of power that's waiting to be unleashed....

Rpske. I was trying to sell mine for $4000 as well and only got one call on it so I traded it at Glens Sport Center in Sheldon and they gave me $3700 for it. Honda had a $300 rebate going on at that I got as well. It ended on the last day of february and i sighned the papers at 5:00 wednesday. I just squeeked threw.
