I want to put a warn winch on a honda 250ex so I looked on warns website and it said that the winch is to be used with a 12v battery. But the thing is, is that the 250 uses a 6v battery, they even have a mounting kit specificaly made for the 250 which shows the winches (RT/XT 15's) are suppose to work on the honda. so how would I go about wiring and installing the winch when it says you need a 12v?

Alright, got it figured out. For some reason it was stuck in my head that it was 6v. But anyways, thanks and forgive my ignorance.
