Does anybody have any tricks or shortcuts to replacing the driveshaft boot joint on this old TRX 300? It looks like I have to remove the swing arm and pull everything rearward to access the boot. Any special tools needed? Thanks in advance.

 

as far as i remember no special tools, as you said swingarm and pull everything back, put new driveshaft boot on.

 

Do they sell a split boot like they do for CV joints on cars?

 

You may need a large allen wrench to remove the swingarm. I think it is a 24mm.
