?New TRX450R?

Probably in the next couple years. Honda doesn't advance or innovate until they have to. They sell it as proven reliability which that works but, I wish they would put some engineers into innovation. They can still be reliable in doing so.

They 450 and 700xx are different machines. 700xx is a trail blazing beast. 450 is more run and gun high reving machine for jumping, sliding and track riding. Get what fits your riding style.

Agreed. They are totally different animals. Im 42, so the suspension is what I needed. I also dont like to fly through the air anymore. But, fast on the trails and powere is great. The 450s also have the quickness in a straight out drag race. I ride on alot of rooty trails so I also needed the ground clearance that you get with the 700.

No complaints yet. The only problem is that in 2008 Honda made a lot of them. So now you can get a new 08 for cheap. The 09s-10s are still exspensive. I think when Honda dropped the price on the 08s it will hurt their value for later. But is is a beast and loves the trails. My son was racing the 450s locally at our dunes and they were quicker, but if the race was longer, I think he could get them in top end. We are still stock on ours, but I am probably gonna hook his up a little. One draw back is that when I am riding with my wife and daughter, (they have utilities) It is a little roughg keeping it down to their speed. But I kept one of my 420s for that.

Ahhh... don't wish so hard for it...
Instead, wish for an EFI model option... 450R, 450ER, 450EFI.
Fuel injection is great if they get it right to start with.
But then it SUCKS when you go to do mods, or when something goes wrong.
My EFI cost me a year of frustration, 6 weeks of shop time, and $300 to fix it, which luckily also gave me the ability to tune for mods.
It kicks a carburator's azz when it works... it's when it doesn't that you wish for the simplicity of a carb. Before, I would have traded mine in a heartbeat for a 450R with reverse.... lol...

Trouble is, a lot of their dealers aren't helping them a lot.
If all of them did like the single one I talked business with the inventory would flush.
When one dealer is flushing at $4,000 and the other still wants $8,000 it's not hard to figure out.
