2006 rubicon broken inner tie rod . How to remove????

Default 2006 rubicon broken inner tie rod . How to remove????

On my 2006 rubicon broke inner tie rod can not get the nut off that holds it on. No room for wrench can not pull straight do not want to strip outer edges of Nut any suggestions on removing the nut!!! Are they left or right handed threads???

If it's the nut on the ball joint of the tie rod end that goes through the steering stem then it's right handed beware there is also a nut type thing under the rubber boot that must be held to get the other nut off. if it's the locknut that is on the tie rod itself one end is right and one side is left don't remember which is which. I just helped a neighbor with one and we had to take basically the whole front off then turn the handlebars opposite of the side we were on to raise the nut so we could get to it. Hope this helps.

They can be tough to get to, but you should be able to find a way to get a ratchet in there with the steering turned one way or the other.

May as well replace all 4, since when one goes the rest are ususally getting there.
