Default best after market pipe for the 400EX

whats the best after market slip on pipe for the 400EX? i will be mostly trail riding and i would also like it to not be to insanely loud. i am looking at the HMF pipe http://hmfracing.com/shop/pipes/honda/400ex-99-10 and the FMF power core 4 http://www.fmfracing.com/Products/ATV/129 although any other suggestions for one around $300 or less would be appreciated.

thanks

well of ur stuck on a slip on, id have to say the fmf, there cheap to buy, arent annoyingly loud if u get the S/A, and have their own unique sound. thats what i have on my 300 and its the best pipe i've ever bought, out of 3 hahaha.

but if its alot of power u want for the 400 i would go with the white brothers E series full system, there the biggest pipe u can get for a 400 that isnt custom made!

do you have a link to the S/A? i cant find any S/A series or anything on FMF's website... also why do you like them so much besides the sound?

well the S/A just means spark arrested and is US forestry approved, so u can use it in national forests and what not without getting yelled at haha. if it doesnt it just gives it a deeper tone. i like them so much cause there light weight, clean up real well, and are fool proof to repack.

im tryin to find a good place to find some for a good price.

oh yeah i'll need a spark arrester haha. especially here in Colorado where its so dry, wouldn't want to set anything on fire lol. so the only FMF pipes that are in my price range are the powercore 4 and the Q4, looks like they both have spark arresters and according to FMF the Q4 is quieter so that almost settles it right there. but i would still like some input from someone that has used those 2 pipes
