Hi everyone....I'm new to the site. I have a 98 formen 450S and I had never had a problem with it. Now all of sudden when I have the throttle pined going down the road it keeps cutting out on me. On and off. It feels like you were turning the kill switch on and off... I cleaned the carb on it figuring that it may be a clogged jet but that did not work.... Any suggestions?????

 

welcome! does it happen in any gear? try running some seafoam in the gas....

 

yes it happens in any gear... As soon as it gets to a high RPM.... It not the rev limiter....
