New to quads and picked up an 01 fresh off a rebuild sounds like there is a slight tick but im not familure enough with these engines to know if its normal. I can really only hear it at idle not when riding in gear because the exhaust is so loud. Does this sound like my valves need adjusted? The valves were just adjusted by the way but I have heard during breakin after a rebuild they need to be adjusted frequently there is around 2hrs on the engine since the rebuild too. Any help would be appreciated

 

they probly have to be adjusted again but i had and lt230 that ticked after i rebuilt it and b4 i did and nothing ever happend

 

are you sure it's the engine if so check it out. but it could be other things i thought i had one while driving at low speeds but really my chain was ticking because it was loose.
