Motion pro twist throttle kit, but beware get used to it on flat ground first. I rode friend's dirt bikes and wanted one on a 400ex I had, put it on and took off and almost killed myself first ride out, it dosen't feel like a dirtbike it's a different feeling. But you will get used to it quick.

Everything I have ever read about twist throttles on an ATV is DON'T DO IT ! Here's why. When you turn a 2 wheeler, the bike and you stay in the same line because you lean. Therefore, your hand stays in the same position on the throttle. But on an ATV, your body moves but the quad doesn't. This sets up an uncontrollable throttle situation. I have never had one on an ATV and don't ever want one. I am going by others experience. I usually listen to experience.

I just bought a 300ex and it came with a twist throttle and at first I didn't know what to think but it is actually really nice especially with the clutch I rode my friends kx80 and going over to the quad was fine I say go for it it doesn't effect how much throttle you get in a turn unless you don't have a clue what your doing

I have one on my 300 4x4 and love it! It takes a little bit of getting used to at first in trails and stuff but I'll never go back as long as I have this bike! Very easy to install as well! Can't remember the brand, bought tru honda dealer!

I have seen a few bad crashes due to twist! I would never run one and if you do be careful who you let ride it. People seem to grab the gas on a quad trying to hang on and it leads to very bad things like going into the woods or off a cliff. Just letting you know what I think. I have had both on many quads over the years. Thx. Jeff

I've never ran one on a atv only bikes but i have heard a lot of negatives about them. in my opinion it would depend on the type of riding your doing. for example where i ride has large Whoop sections and i think a twist throttle would be a bad idea there but for trails or mud would probably be fine.

I have had both, and definitely prefer the thumb to the twist. It is a different style of riding compared to dirtbikes, and extreme turns can cause control issues under certain circumstances with a twist
