twist throttle

I just bought a 300ex and it came with a twist throttle and at first I didn't know what to think but it is actually really nice especially with the clutch I rode my friends kx80 and going over to the quad was fine I say go for it it doesn't effect how much throttle you get in a turn unless you don't have a clue what your doing
Stay with the thumb throttle and save the money!

not a good idea- for many reasons. do a search on it- there's a lot of threads about it in the forums.
