Performance wheels
My son currently has a 2007 400ex with stock front and rear wheels. He races "Hare scrambles" so of course the front wheels are dented up on the outer edges and i would like to find replacements. His tires are new so we are just looking for wheels. I would like to start with the front wheels. I am looking for something quality but i don't want to kill the wallet. Thanks

Beadlocks. Doesn't really matter which brand. At the least go for the ITP T-9 Baja's with the reinforcing rings. Personally I run Hi-Per wheels. Spendy but worth every penny. Actually, not much more expensive than regular beadlocks. I tried some regular T-9s one race and they were trashed. I expected a lot more from .190s. Actually the stock Yamaha rims hold up well with their fully rolled lip. You might want to look for something similar in a Honda pattern. finally, try some of the xc forums for used stuff. I know Hi-Pers look like brand new with a fresh set of locking rings.
