i tore the front end apart and will order the damaged parts online, easy fix really. my main concern at this point is: the sudden change of speed from the impact of the accident. could this have caused internal damage to the hydrostatic transmission? i checked the oil, and it is fine. rode the rubi home (about 45 min ride, 10 - 15 miles or so i'd guess) and it acted completely fine, no symtoms of any damage or any unusual noises. anything i should keep an eye out for?
The first thing that come's to mind is keep you eye's on the rider in front of you at all time's , and you could use/add brake light's on all the quad's you ride with safety should your first concern ; you can fix the damage of your quad but the human body take's more time to heal some time's they be can't be fixed !

I've never ran into the rider in fron't of me but i've been ramed from behind from , the people i ride with now have brake light's on their machine's now , and my 2006 Arctic Cat FIS Auto 4x4 came from the factoer with brake light's and i never tail gate the atv ,car on and off road ; i follow the same saftey rule's that i do when driving any thing !

Safety alway's come first .
