I have a '89 300TRX that has been sitting for a while and was thought to be eating up silinoids. Come to find out the silinoid was good. But now as soon as I have the ground wire hooked up to the battery and hook up the hot wire it starts turning over. I unhooked all the wires to the silinoid and it still turns over. As far as I can conclude it's compleatly bypassing the silinoid. Any help?

 

sounds like you have wires fused together. i'm sorry i'm not familiar with your model/make of machine, but it does sound like you have wiring issues. fused wires. probably start tracing out from battery/key/solenoid area to starter/ground/etc....
