Default front brake parts question

Looking at the parts Fiche it lists the shoes as #1 and includes all 4 shoes and the return springs. Do the tension pins, caps and seals come with the shoes too?? They too have a #1 by them besides the individual part numbers.

I can't beleive that I only got 13,000 miles out of my OE front brakes, I'll thank the ESP for that. Looks like the rear still has some miles left.

Specta,
Near as I can tell, you should be getting all of those pieces in the brake shoe kit if you are buying Honda OEM brake shoes. And the next time you want super prices on Honda OEM stuff, let me know and Ill see what I can work out for ya.

Well I finished the job yesterday, pretty easy to change front shoes, just remember turn the front cylinder adjuster collar counter clock wise and the rear one clockwise to tighten the brakes. Always wondered what that red rubber plug was for on the rim.
Bad news is one wheel bearing is shot. I have changed them on disk brake ATVs but not a drum brake ATV,not sure if that makes the job harder.

The red plug is an inspection hole to see the shoe lining.

I might replace the front wheel bearings too. Seems like once you’re in there other things start giving you trouble too.

I really like trouble free riding and I believe that preventative maint is the only way to do it.

Bearing, seals and a ball joint $65, a complete knuckle assembly $81.

I think I'll stick the the bearing and seals for $51.

Nothing better than a two-purpose hole. LOL

Thank you very much, I really appreciate that, both the answer and the offer. And I will be buying Honda OE parts.
