I am trying to remove the petcock on my Recon, but the 2 retaining bolts are turning without loosening. It seems like the nuts in the plastic tank are turning. Anybody have this problem? How did you resolve, any ideas how to remove the petcock?

I have had this problem on them and the only way that i got bolts loose was to pull out on petcock while loosing bolts......... and had to replace tank...... the bolts are over tightened and the brass nut has splines on them and tank is molded around it... then when trying to removed after they got over tightened from honda with air tools..Good Luck.....
