Default 2005 Honda rubicon cold blooded how to keep the choke up????

I have a 2005 Honda rubicon 500 and in the cold mornings it needs to run with the choke on full but when you pull the **** all the way out it slowly goes back in and then causes the machine to die because it has not had enough time to warm up, it's like the spring is not stiff enough anyway has anyone had this problem and have a easy fix??

A clothes pin under the **** acting like a spacer. Quick and easy to put on and off.

Underneath the choke **** is a rubber boot, pull that back and there will be another **** all you need to do is tighten it by hand and the choke will stay out as long as you need it.

That would be the first thing I'd try, but when they freeze up usually the cable is smashed or rusted somewhere.
