Default 26 inch tires on Rubicon

I have a 2005 Rubicon and I just bought some brand new Kawasaki Teryx rims and 26 inch tires for $250. I was hoping the rims would match up but they are bigger so I have to do some switching. Before I do that, I want to make sure that the 26 inch tires would fit on the Rubicon and not cause any clearance issues. I really don't want to do any modifications. The 26 inch tires will fit on the Rubicon rims, right?

What about the ride quality? Is it going to be better or worse than 25 inch tires? What are the pros and cons of using 26 inch tires?

26 inch tires will work fine for fitting under fenders BUT what is the wheel size ?12 inch is the size on the oem rubicon.. The first number on tire like 25 is the height of tire the second number is the width, the third number is the wheel size..So you have to have the wheel size for sure... As far cons goes IMO would be set higher up off ground makes more top heavy But IMO the half inch taller willbe perfect so no problem there either.Just make sure the tires are the correct size for yor wheels.

The size I have been using is 25x8x12 for the front and 25x10x12 for the rear. The only thing different on the tires I bought is they are 26x8x12 and 26x10x12.

They will probably be fine on that machine. If they are much more aggressive, you may loose some speed due to rolling resistance.

I got them installed and no problems with clearance issues. It seems to steer easier with these new tires. How much more strain will these bigger tires put on the drivetrain?

The rims that I took these new tires off of came off a Kawasaki Teryx. The bolt pattern is to big for the Rubicon. My question is what else will these rims fit on besides the Teryx? The dealer where I bought these rims and tires told me that these rims are the same pattern as the Kawasaki atv's. I know this is not true because a couple of years ago I bought some tires and rims that came off a Kawasaki atv from the same place and the rims would fit on the Rubicon, it is just the offset was different and causing it to rub the exhaust.

Just curious, do you know what the name of these tires are? I know the brand is Maxxis but it does not have a name or number on there.
Thanks for the help, guys.
