Default Rincon Exhaust

I recently bought a 2004 rincon, I noticed the other day that the spark arrestor and end cap are not on the end, just a roughly 2" hole. I priced a new one and the are 110.00 just for the spark arrestor. Can I make a new end piece and not have the spark arrestor screen? What affects does this have on the back pressure? Can you buy an aftermarket end cap to fit the stock exhaust. Sorry about all the questions, new to the site and the atv and want to correct anything I should before regretting it later. Thanks in advance!!

Welcome to the forum.

There is an aftermarket "power tip" for the stock Rincon muffler. It apparently adds a bit of sound and power, but I don't know if it would require rejetting.

Not having a spark arrester would limit where you can ride legally.

You might also browse e-bay for a stock muffler. 4x4's don't get performance mufflers put on as frequently as sport quads, but there are some used ones on there from time to time.

Actually, I see there is an aftermarket tip with a spark arrester on e-bay now for $38.
