Default How to Quiet Down ATV Exhaust System

I have a 02 Honda TRX 250 that we just got running. The exhaust on the bike is an aftermarket. The bike is really loud as the baffling has crumbled. Is there any inexpensive ways to help quieten down the bike? I plan to sell it in the summer so I am not really wanting to spend too much money at this point.

I appreciate any feedback.

FMF sells repacking kits, they are only like 10 bucks or so.

stainless steel pot scrubbers last longer than regular steel wool. Pack it LOOSEly for more quiet. I got the real stuff.. fibreglass blanket stuff from a bike shop and my gloves were coverd in sparkels and the exhaust blows out superfine fiberglass sparlky airborne bs. I wouldn't want to ride behind that.

cheap inexpensive way to quiet down your atv would be to look on ebay for someone that is selling their used exhaust from any year 250x/300ex.
