SO I bought a 99 400ex todayy for 400. I do not like the 99 front end and I want to swap to a 05 front end(plastics, headlight) and I know that you have to make some custom mounts and was curious if anybody had pics or a write up on how to do it. Also i am pretty sure that you have to swap the gas tank to. Any help would be great and thank you in advance.

 

i would actually be suprised if you had to be that involved with the swap. if you look closer at the fenders of the two machines on the front they are the same. i find it hard to believe that you would have to change the gas tank.
