Hi - Having some trouble here with my wifes 2007 Honda Rubicon's head lights and dash light...checked the bulbs, cleaned all connections all appeared to be good...We tested for fire with test light in all the connections and and all appeared to be working fine...Now, we discovered that the tail light is burned out but there is also fire going to it...Would the tail light being burned out have anything to do with the headlights / dash light not working? Dealership claims that the switch should not be worn out...the machine has 2,500 kms on it. Has anyone had this kind of trouble or know what direction to point me in?

Where did you check for current to the lights? At the connectors or at the actual light bulb sockets?
The tail light will not affect the headlights, if indeed it is burned out.

I would start by checking for voltage at each light bulb socket. Then go from there.

I own a 07 Rubicon that has been trouble free.
