I am getting a code 6 after having to replace the oil pump. I think the motor has gone into what is called motor lock. I can hear the shift motor come on while do the initialization process however it only runs for about a second and then stop. I can turn the gear inside counterclockwise but only maybe a 1/4 of turn clockwise. I have used the screw driver to try to break it free, but it doesn't seem to want to free up very easily. Any suggestions?

I thought I had a manual around for later Rubicons, but I can't seem to locate it...

Anyway, is the gear still bound up, or can you turn it?

I believe there is also a procedure to re-initialize the computer after it has been disconnected, so that it learns what the range of motion of the shift motor is, relative to the reading from the angle position sensor.

Welcome to the forum. Hopefully someone who can be more helpful will chime in soon. Also a factory service manual would be a good investment, if you are planning on keeping the ATV for a while.
