Default 300ex Hand Guards Question

I went on a ride earlier and realized it was time to get some warmer gloves and invest in some hand guards. I was looking up some on ebay and noticed they only fit certain size handlebars and I was wondering what the size was on an 05 300ex stock handlebar?

Alot of them look kinda skimpy and have vents in them but this is the set I'm looking into if the dimensions match up. Any thoughts?

i personally wouldnt buy anything but Maier hand guards. installation is a little harder than needs to be, but they are some of the absolute best handguards out there. they do help very little in the cold, not as well as expected, but they help if your buddy shoots some roost on your hands

Thanks for the info guys, I'll look into those brands.

You said they don't do well against the cold, what's the best way to keep your hands warm? Heated grips, really good gloves, or what? The temp doesn't get to crazy like in the negatives around here to often but I'm just looking for a comfortable ride maybe around 20 degrees (f), anything colder and I'll pass on riding the atv.

hand warmers work great, but if you cant keep the cold off your hands they still dont work. if that makes any sense(if its really cold out). i dont know who makes them but they are like a big glove that velcros to your handlebars. those go up to your forearms and you wear another pair of gloves inside of those and i can guarantee your hand will never get cold if you had hand warmers. they are easy to remove, but do not look "cool". you might be able to find them in a snomobiling magazine. if you are after looks then hand guards are the way to go
