ok got a 06 450 er, stock ..... it wont idle and its hard to crank, so i took the carb off and cleaned all the jets, but the smallest wouldnt come out.... or does it...??? but i cleaned it in the carb and sprayed cleaner up in it and it had a real good stream come out, so i put it all back together and it cranks way better but will only run on choke or if u throttle it......... why wont it idle by itself it runs great under throttle ...... what could this be ...... ???

 

My money is there is still some trash in the carb. It's not uncommon to have to go through it a couple of times. I know I seem to have to. The slow jet should come out. If it don't be very, very, careful. Don't force it. Maybe let it soak for a while before trying to clean it. We've used torch tip cleaners to clean the small holes.
