Default Oil Pump

I'm working on a magnom 325. My uncle was driving it and the Bigger hose running from the oil cooler to the oil filter housing fell off, he shut it off as soon as he noticed. Now the wheeler knocks if you excelerate or ar high rpms. Kinda like a low octane piston rap on a v-8. Do you think the oil pump needs to be primed, if so how? or is it time for a new engine. It does not knock on idle...... Thanks for any info...

Default Oil Pump

Is that not one of the ones that were recalled for that problem?

I'm not sure. If you tell me where to look, I can get you the year of the wheeler. It is green....
