I'm looking to upgrade my front suspension on my 400 and was wondering if the TRX450 A-arms and shocks will fit on the 400? Thanx!

 

So NO one out there has an answer to my question??? WOW...kinda disappointed!!! I REALLY could use some advice/help on this! If not the 450 swap anyone know of another cheap but safe way to makin this mod happen? Its gotta be possible some how!? Did something similar to my trx300!

 

The shocks fit for sure but i don't know about the a arms i ride a 450r and i used to own a 400ex the 450r shocks are a big upgrade and a used pair on craigslist should'nt run you too much. hope this helps.

 

Well I do appreciate all the replys!!! I'm strictly a desert trail rider so thinkin I'm gonna go with the trx450 shocks! I'm hopin all goes nice and easy...if there is such a thing! lol...Murphy's law and all! Also in regards to the spacers...I'm still on the fence with those so, if anyone has any further input that'd be cool! Oh yah and if anyone out there has a set of the trx450 stock shocks or front spacers for a trx400ex they're lookin to sell please let me know! Oh and thanx again all!

The spacers will help alot in the tight turns that trails. The reason i have not put them on mine is that where i ride there are sometimes trees that are very narrow. and i think i would take strength away from the axle when i jump my quad. but from what i've heard the disk type are stronger than the ones that only lenghten the studs.
