i have a 97 honda foreman

recently the quad would not start, so figured the battery being 4yrs old was bad, so i replaced it, still no start unless you jumped it, next i put a new starter and relay. still i get is a noise from the relay. if i jump it off the starter bolt and ground to the bike, starts right up. i tried jumping the battery and the starter will not engage and the relay makes a noise. i am lost of where to go find the problem. "any" thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

 

Your solonoid is bad, you can take it apart and clean the contacts pry apart the sol. and sand the contacts and reassemble or buy a new one...
