Default getting a 400ex

I'm getting an 05 or newer 400ex this spring. I was just wondering if the fact that they are air cooled could present problems vs quads that are liquid cooled?

i have no problems with my air cooled machines here in Texas where sometimes we're over 100°F for weeks at a time. my machines have no problems........even when i take them south where there is more humidity, still, no problems.....congrats and good luck and enjoy the machine.

I'd think you'd have more problems with an air cooled cylinder when submerging it in water- there's no water jacket to buffer the transfer of heat which could (not saying it would) but could damage the cylinder / head. Liquid cooled motors help to buffer that transition into cold water.
